On April 24, as a professor of Shanghai University of political science and law, Wang Shudong, director of our institute, participated in the signing and unveiling ceremony of the people's mediation research and training program and the practice teaching base for college students held by Xuancheng Judicial Bureau and Shanghai University of political science and law. Xuancheng Municipal Bureau of justice, all cadres of the Municipal Medical Commission, Shanghai University of political science and law and their party attended the ceremony in the main venue of the Municipal Bureau, and more than 350 police officers of the judicial bureaus of counties and cities attended the ceremony in each branch venue. The meeting was presided over by Zhao fan, deputy director of the Municipal Bureau.

Hua Xianglin, secretary and director of the Party group of Shanghai Municipal Bureau of political science and law, and Hou huaixia, Dean of the school of law of Shanghai University of political science and law signed the agreement on the research and training of the subject of people's mediation and the construction of the practice base for college students, and jointly inaugurated the "practice base University for college students of Shanghai University of political science and law" and the "research and training base for people's mediation subject of Xuancheng Municipal Bureau of justice".

The first is to enrich the new force of mediation at the grassroots level. Shanghai University of political science and law plans to recommend some college students majoring in people's mediation to participate in social practice in the city every year. The city will be responsible for arranging practical posts, appointing special personnel to teach and practice, learning job recommendation, and jointly opening a new training mode of compound and applied people's mediation talents. Second, innovate new methods of business training. The city will take advantage of the teaching and scientific research force of colleges and universities to comprehensively improve the overall quality of the city's people's mediation team by organizing the backbone of people's mediation business to hold short and medium-term special training courses in the school in batches and stages. The third is to explore new research directions. The two sides will work together to study the theoretical issues of people's mediation, participate in the compilation of curriculum materials for the school's people's mediation major, and jointly publish theoretical books to study and solve problems in the work. The fourth is to form a new fashion of academic exchange. The two sides will hold academic forums and working meetings, and universities will invite Xuancheng leaders and people's Mediation Experts to participate in teaching as part-time professors. The city will also invite university professors to give lectures in a systematic way to conduct in-depth academic practice exchanges.
