Shanghai Founder Lawyers rewarded with max client compensation in injury claims battle

In a recent case, a Brazilian-Taiwanese client was gravely injured in a traffic incident involving a taxi belonging to the Qiangsheng Company. Shanghai Founder Law Firm secured a vital victory in this case, with our client receiving almost 190,000RMB in compensation and damages.

The client was diagnosed with a fracture on the left side of his femoral neck – a class 10 disability according to Chinese law. The defendants contested that our compensation claim was exorbitant and unjustified in light of the fact that our client did not receive his treatment at a public hospital. They continued this line of inquisition, arguing that his loss of income was unsubstantial and an augmenting factor in the discordance between the factual matter and the value of our compensation claim.

We rebutted these claims, maintaining that the fee was appropriate because the clients salary was more than that of his Labour contract, and provided a series of evidences to this end. With regards to the medication fee, as our client was not a Chinese national, his opting for a private hospital for treatment was neither unwarranted or undue.

Consequently, the court ruled in favour of our client, accepting most of our propositions and awarding him compensation amounting to almost 190,000RMB
