On the 18th of November, 2013, Lawyer Ashley Chen gave a lecture in the 101 of the Zhenru town Government, which is the eighth “the biweekly case, Lawyers analysis the law” series lectures about bring the law to government.
By giving the example of the case that a school changed the use of donations without any authority, Lawyer Ashley Chen detailedly analysis it from three aspects of the donors, the recipient and the school. Then, disclosed the legal issue behind the case and expanded to the topic of the laws and regulations about granting and second-hand housing transaction which is closely related to people’s livelihood.
Lawyer Ashley Chen gave a detailed description about the irrevocable, remove any and the statutory cancellation in the contracts for donation; the special provisions in housing grants; and the differences between granting and bequeathing. She also gave a real case to analyze the comparison between the Sale and Purchase and Housing grant in the tax and fee. At last, she introduced the characteristics and advantages in foreign trust.
The topic of this lecture fits people’s livelihood, concerns the hot. It is not only helps the government to do the work, also helps the listeners a lot. Through case analysis, interpretation of the law and analysis the comparison, Lawyer Ashley Chen used the real case to introduce the topic, detailedly introduced knowledge of law which is closely related to people’s livelihood.
