Founder PRC Lawyers Visit Shanghai International Freight Forwarders Association

On the morning of 9th Jul 2010, William Wang senior partner of Founder PRC Lawyers, and Lawyer Ashley Chen went to visit Shanghai International Freight Forwarders Association(SIFFA).    Hailin Lee  the Secretary-General of SIFFA has heated discussion about the trend of logistics industry. After Mr Li`s brief description of the status of logistics enterprises and the legal problems faced these days, William Wang and Ashley Chen summarized the legal risks which the logistics faced and provide their suggestions. Through sincere and deep conversation, both sides exchanged views on the problems existed in the forwarding industry. 

Shanghai International Freight Forwarders Association (SIFFA), established in Sept. 1992, is the  first international freight forwarding industry of our mainland, under the conditions of the deepening of reform and opening up and rapid development of international freight forwarding industry. With the purpose of "guidance, service, coordination, protection", SIFFA assists relevant government departments to strengthen the management of international freight forwarding industry, and maintain the business orders of Shanghai International Freight Forwarding market, and study the development trend of international freight forwarding industry, and stand for the interests of its members and reflect the voice of the industry, and conduct various training and improve the quality of employees, and coordinate relations between inside and outside the industry to promote the healthy development of the Shanghai International Freight Forwarding industry.

Founder PRC Law Firm was the only legal office participating in the 4th Asian Logistics Biennial.  The valuable visit brought Founder lawyers a deeper understanding of logistics industry, and we also got a good opportunity to have a more meticulous view of logistics industry.
